There is a very long story about this album, but I'll try to keep it brief. I signed a management contract in 2009. It was great for the first year. I had a little bit of publishing income. I really liked my manager. He had negotiated a deal with a fairly well known independent jazz label to release and distribute what was to be this record. The label seemed to love my concept for it. Then a number of circumstances that were far larger and more important than I caused my manager to move to Japan. Once I was reassigned to a new manager everything slowed to a halt. I was not a priority and the label got cold feet after they noticed that my new manager was not working as hard to promote. So they moved this release to the in house label of the management company where it was given the softest of digital releases. In 2020 I regained the distribution rights to the album so here it is.
